SCRIPTEASY V2 SOFTWARE
Configuration and monitoring are made easy with:
- User-friendly configuration
- Complex automatic actions (mathematical functions, mute capability...) or macros that are programmable using the innovative ScriptEasy graphical interface
- Drag and drop logic functions and I/O data to generate scripts for automatic responses to various conditions
- Script simulation mode for testing and debugging
CREATOR MODULE
Featuring two interfaces - a basic tabular interface similar to old-style legacy equipment; and an amazing new graphic interface with drag and drop capability.
Configuring the site
Tabular scripting method
- Telling the software what type of remote control unit it will be running on, and the I/Os that are available
- Setting up the inputs and outputs that will be connected to the remote equipment
- Calibrating the analog inputs
- Creating ‘virtual’ analog readings, if desired
- Creating virtual analog inputs using math expressions
Graphic scripting method
- Simple linear organization of inputs and commands
- Muting, scheduling features available
- Send email, Voice calls, SNMP traps
- Trigger commands based on inputs or DTMF
Drag and drop any I/O into a graphic interface.
- Establish relationships between objects
- Many objects available (action buttons, timers, logic gates…)
- Simulate your script for testing
- Play Mode for real-time user control
- Many objects to create your own script.
- Inputs and Outputs
- Math expressions
- Logic elements (AND, OR, Inverter…)
- Scheduler, Timer and Counter
- Alarms
- Action Buttons for live control
Voice DTMF interface
- In standard
- Vocabulary of pre-recorded 700 words
- Record your own message (8 kHz 16 bit mono WAV files)
MASTERVIEW MODULE
The MasterView provides remote monitoring and control of the Relio I/O from virtually anywhere.
- MasterView Designer to create and customize your view
- MasterView to view it
- Palette with different objects
- Customize shapes, colors, import pictures, add comments
SCRIPTEASY FEATURES
- Supports Various TCP/IP Protocols
- Connects to a LAN/WAN, A GSM or PSTN Modem
- Alarms via Email, SNMP and Voice/DTMF Interface
Connection panels
Easy to use connection panels make installation a snap! High-density SCSI snap lock cables connect the Relio to the panels, which have rugged Euro-style screw terminals for all your connections to the real world. Separate panels available for analog input connections (24 per panel) and Digital status inputs (32 per panel). Digital outputs can be wired either with a direct interface to the open collector outputs, or an optional panel with individual relays for 32 outputs per panel. Mix and match, buy only as many panels as your facility requires.

- Automatic display of I/O modules
- Configuration of serial COM ports (modem / tunneling / console / scriplet)
- Configuration of PSTN modem connection (port, speed, account, etc…)
- Filter incoming calls
- View of the events, alarms,..
- Sorting by severity, type of alarms…
- Capable of sending to 4 different destination addresses (Manager)
- Configuration of traps

- Complete MIB available
BROADCAST MANAGER*
Relio can be integrated into a complete Radio (AM, FM,HD) and/or TV (analog, ATSC and DVB) monitoring solution, using the unique Broadcast MANAGER software, for centralized management of data, configurations, communications and alarms.
*available Q2 2008
TCP/IP Tunneling
Tunneling is a TCP/IP gateway that can pass data from a specific IP port to a serial (RS-232) connection and send the returning data from the RS-232 back to the originating IP address and port.
What are the uses?
- More and more transmitting sites are getting TCP/IP connectivity
- But there is still a lot of older equipment that can only use serial connections
How?
- The Relio has multiple serial ports which can be used to establish a tunneling connection. USB ports can also be used for this application.
- In some cases, even proprietary programs can connect through a tunneling IP connection just like they were directly connected to the RS-232 of the legacy gear.
API
API means Advanced Program Interface. It is a powerful new tool for advanced programmers to link an AA unit (equipped with Scripteasy software) with external equipment, via one of the available serial ports. Users can write commands through the serial connection, read responses, and configure actions based on the results
What are the uses?
- Some equipment and devices have only serial communication ports for control and readings
- The only way to monitor or control them is to use specific commands (I.E. simple tunneling will not work, or you need automated communication)
- Replaces time consuming traditional IO Wiring – easily duplicated from site to site
- Transmit alarms in case of faults
- Generate simple or complex actions upon events (or combinations of events)
- Log information about events and actions taken
XML-RPC
XML-RPC stands for XML Remote Procedure Call.
Commonly used by web designers and programmers, it allows creation of customized active web pages containing many types of information.
What are the uses?
- Allows for integration of information and functions from the AA remote control equipment into active web pages based on a remote server
- Group status, measurement and control functions by station site or region
- Access readings and status of any connected equipment through your own web pages and sites
