The new Test and Measurement standard for FM…
The Modulation Analyzer analyzes an FM signal from audio source to antenna!
RF, MPX and audio signals are digitized as soon as they enter the equipment; the only processing done in the equipment is to create the analysis.
From the RF input, this acquisition is done using an accurate high speed converter, directly from the FM transmitter or generator, without mixing.
The calculation power which this equipment puts at the user’s disposal, enables all the measurements to be refreshed simultaneously and synchronously, thereby allowing for coherent readings of all the Multiplex FM signal components, while viewing the 4 available spectra and maintaining a review of the decoded RDS.

Key features
- The highest accuracy available on the market
- All the tools and functions necessary for the measurement and analysis of an entire FM broadcast chain, from audio source to RF signal
- 100% digital technology, from the RF input up to AES-EBU audio output, which allows an extremely high accuracy , stability, and an “absolute” reproducibility of the measurements
- Mobile equipment, excellent ergonomics, a touch screen for fingertip use
- A complete respect of Broadcast signal measurements and standards
- All major interfaces are present (analog audio input/output, digital audio input/output, RF input, MPX input…) to connect to the available signals anywhere along the FM chain.
- Easy to use software , which allows a clear view of the measurements, and a synthetisized view of the main parameters allowing the analysisl and management of the FM transmission chain.
- Automatic generation of measurement reports for post analysis
- Remote communication through IP
- Commands for automation of measurements (i.e., on a production line)
- Front panel touchscreen
