    Audemat Digiplexer 2/4The new Digiplexer 2/4 (radio all in one) is the first item in a new generation of products from Audemat that incorporates a digital audio processor and stereo encoder, along with additional features such as an RDS encoder, embedded audio back-up and TCP/IP connectivity.
    Development of the product has seen Audemat collaborate with Sound4 to create a high quality audio processor that is based on a powerful DSP hardware platform.
    Arriving with an 80GB embedded hard drive, the 1U rackable Digiplexer 2/4 is billed as the ideal choice for medium and small market stations, non-commercial and educational stations, and network broadcasters who pre-process their programmes at the studio and need a processor and RDS encoder at every transmitting site.
    Jean-Baptiste Roux, vice-president of sales at Audemat France, explained: "Our customers could buy the unit to replace any single unit in their air chain and the remaining features could serve as back-up for the other existing equipment.
    "The Digiplexer 2/4 could also replace a number of pieces already in place where space is critical," Roux concluded
