The Audio Processor Silver line is a new generation of digital audio processors that can be used to process audio for AM, FM and digital broadcasting such as HD/DAB and Internet streaming. Using the latest multi-band DSP technology, the Audio Processor Silver line offers versatile and powerful tools that enable broadcasters to create their sonic signature and to attract and keep a loyal audience. The line includes 4-band and 6-band FM audio processors with dual paths allowing simultaneous parallel processing for AM, FM and digital radio. HD versions, using sophisticated look-ahead limiters, are optimized for processing audio signals that are being fed off into codecs employing bit rate reduction techniques. The 6 band FM and HD versions include the Ariane RMS leveler as a standard feature. This world-reknowned AGC corrects input level variations, improves consistency and can also provide stereo enhancement with its matrix mode of operation. Silver Audio Processors come equipped with many factory and user-defined presets for all music styles and applications. The A/B switching enables instant comparison between newly adjusted settings and prior ones.
