FMB80

Why should I put RDS on my station?

  • Put your station's name, slogan, or call letters on the radio dials of your listeners.
  • Send a code to let new listeners find you by scanning for your program type (format).
  • Show the title or artist name for the song that's currently playing. You can also send this information to RDS-equipped billboards, attracting new listeners when they see their favorite songs.
  • Show website addresses, call-in numbers, the name of a host or interview guest.....
  • Send advertisers' text messages while you broadcast their commercials.
  • Switch listeners to other desired frequencies as they drive out of your transmitter's range.

The FMB80 has been tested and is compatible with major automation software brands uch as RCS, PROPHET, DALET, AUDIOVAULT, SCOTT STUDIOS, ENCO, OMT… We are always ready to speak to your automation software company and help them with integration of our commands.

RDS capability is available in car and home radio receivers, most new cars come with RDS as standard equipment.
